When Covid 19 struck the world, Uganda, like many other developing countries, faced the challenge of travel restrictions which saw the medical and laboratory supplies in the country take a nose drive culminating in their expensive importation.

The population especially the travelers, were required to undertake Covid 19 testing before traveling amidst the scarce test kits and testing centers in the country.

In the effort to support the Ministry of Health and Government of Uganda, Biotech, through her partners Vela Diagnostics and INVICTA Africa supplied ViroKey SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR Test Kits and MyGo Pro real-time PCR instrument to supplement the fight against the spread of Covid 19 virus, especially the travelers.
