How the kit works
Pf-Xpat Malaria (HRP2/pLDH) RDT Kit detects antigens present in blood in response to Malaria infection.
Pf-Xpat Malaria (HRP2/pLDH) RDT Kit is a rapid qualitative, two site sandwich immunoassay, utilizing human fingerstick / venous whole blood for the detection of P.falciparum specific histidine rich protein-2 (P.f HRP-2) and P. falciparum specific pLDH (Parasite lactate dehydrogenase). The test is used for specific detection of P. falciparum malaria and for the follow up of anti-malarial therapy.
